The D.C. Record Fair Father’s Day Edition @ The Fillmore
The D.C. Record Fair has become a local tradition. For the past four years The D.C. Record Fair group has held this special event three times per year. This group consists of Jon Meyers of the Vinyl District, Neal Becton of Som Records, Chris Knott (a substantial local DJ), and Kevin Coombe of Soul Recordings. Together this group has created an arena for expressing individuality and a place for like-minded individuals to experience and enjoy their passions.
The Fillmore Silver Spring, a prestigious music venue, will be hosting this years second D.C. Record Fair. This event will be held on Father’s day, making for an exceptional and unique event. This is the first time the Record Fair will be held at the Fillmore. Similar to the Record Fair, The Fillmore thrives on passion and individualistic expression. The combination of the D.C. Record Fair and The Fillmore will bring together artistic creativity, innovation, and a place for individuals to freely express themselves and their passions.
The Record Fair will host 40 vinyl vendors from all over the East coast. This event will also feature local vendors who specialize in vintage clothing, handmade crafts, screen printed posters, and much more. In addition, the Beat Refinery will be giving DJ lessons in the downstairs lounge along with six local DJ’s spinning on the main stage throughout the day.
The Record Fair will take place from 11 A.M. – 5 P.M. Early bird admission takes place between 11 A.M.-12 P.M. and regular admission will take place from noon to 5 P.M.
