Nike Air Huarache Free Basketball 2012 Stealth

[ 2 ] January 19, 2012 |

After getting hit with a few quickstrikes late last year, we are getting hit with a ton of new colors for 2012 from Nike and the Huarache Free. Some OG heads aren’t too happy that Nike brought these back and did not put the original outsole, instead choosing to go with the “Free” outsole. Personally I think it brings a different twist to things and maybe even attract another audience that was never even looking at the Huarache to begin with. Below you have a stealth upper, black trim, turquoise/royal mix, with a white outsole. This color will release around early spring of 2012. Do you think they should have kept the classic like it was? Or do you like the mix of Old School/New School feel? Comment below.

About Teek: Born and raised in Detroit, Mi where he grew a passion for sneakers early on as a kid and continues it well into his adult years. Never looking at sneakers as competition or even "collecting" for the hype, but more so for the love of the concept and staying true to what he likes. No matter if it was the streets of the D or corporate boardrooms, Teko always seems to attract others that share a similar interest in life outside of sneakers. Not claiming to be an expert in this field by any means but always wanting to know the "why" behind shoes, he was encouraged by friends to start a blog. Fast forward, he present SoleSurvivorDetroit.com as a platform to talk specifically about his views surrounding new and upcoming sneakers. Taking it one step further by even breaking down the concepts, materials, and even comparisons through his youtube channel, has allowed him to network with sneakerheads near and far.
