Crepe City: ‘London Sneaker Festival Recap’

[ 0 ] September 28, 2011 |

My hands are up. Apologies for the sporadic posting, been massively on the slack (but all within good reason which I’ll spare for now). Plenty to catch up on, what with the release of J. Cole’s ‘Cole World: Sideline Story’ which DJ Juice has got covered down to a T… Where else to begin?

[Note to self: Must sort out camera situation - These low-res blackberry photos aren't cutting it anymore]

Last week we hit up Crepe City Festival and with over 20 stalls selling the rarest most exclusive sneaks and apparel around town. The turnout was nuts… We saw just about everything from Jordans, custom Air Max, Retro 7′s, Bapes and Jeremy Scott x Adidas Collections to ultimate Holy Grails. This one dude even displayed a pair of kids Air Jordans signed by Jordan himself.

Everyone from collectors, local artists, passer-byers and sneaker aficionados gathered together under one roof at a cool venue with a bar smack bang in the middle of the room for those feeling parched – Ogling at kicks really does take a lot out of you, never underestimate the power of the sneaker. Most of the sneaks hadn’t seen the light of day for tiiime, so you can imagine everyone’s excitement. Levels of footwear epicness were at a high.

We listened, we learned, we lusted… Dope vibes all throughout!
